University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) opened in 2004, becoming the first Sino-foreign university approved by the Ministry of Education in the People’s Republic of China. All students at the University of Nottingham whether studying in the UK, China, or Malaysia graduate with the same degree certificate. All of our degree programmes are taught in English, and you also have a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience Chinese language and culture, equipping you with the skills and experience needed for a global career.
UNNC welcomes international students from all over the world; we have over 9,000 students enrolled, including students from more than 50 countries and regions worldwide.
Our tuition fees are 120,000 RMB per year for undergraduate programmes and 130,000 RMB per year for most postgraduate programmes. This includes access to the library, IT services, and free membership of our sports facilities. All our accommodation buildings offer fully furnished private single bedrooms, and international students who have accepted a place are guaranteed a room on campus.

Degrees at UNNC are four years in duration, with many international undergraduate students able to join the programme in the second year. Postgraduate courses are one year long.
